Christ Community Church (PCA), Franklin TN and The Worship Reformation Network (WRN) are excited to announce plans for the upcoming Worship of God 2008 conference to be held at Christ Community Church in Franklin, TN.

Each year our goal for Worship of God is to bring together lead worshippers from across the country to share thoughts, present ideas, network and seek renewal as those who labor together-- to lead others in our most glorious and eternal calling, the worship of the living God.

Each year we present guest speakers, musical guests, and breakout sessions with discussions and open forums. All attendees will have the opportunity to attend the basic Worship of God sessions, led by CCC’s Pastor of Worship and Preaching, Scotty Smith, and David Hampton, Director of Worship & Arts. We feel it is important that both pastors and worship leaders attend together so that discussions and ideas can be shared and reflected upon from a first-hand perspective.

A relational network of pastors and worship and music directors of the Presbyterian Church in America, WRN is committed to the following summary statement we desire to see accepted throughout the PCA: "Biblical, Reformed, and gospel-driven worship glorifies God, transcends style, edifies the church, and evangelizes the unbeliever."

As a fellowship of worship and music leaders we will seek to facilitate this desire in the following ways:

1. Articulate and model this vision for gospel-driven biblical and Reformed worship in the PCA.
2. Encourage one another in our worship callings through prayer and resource sharing as well as mutual counsel, exhortation and edification.
3. Help to mentor and equip emerging worship leaders.
4. Work together as a network to support like-minded efforts in the PCA. This includes working with conferences, seminaries, denominational courts and agencies, and other networks.
